A-5 scores. B-5 recovers the ball and heads toward out of bounds to throw the ball in. However, B-5 never steps out of bounds and passes the ball to B-1 who starts up the court.
Handle the situation.
This is a throw-in violation. B-5 must throw the ball in from out of bounds. Once Team B acts as if this has been done, Team B has violated. Team A will be awarded the ball out of bounds on the endline at the closest “magic spot” for a designated spot throw-in.
