A-4 is fouled in the act of shooting. As the whistle is sounded, the horn also sounds before the ball is released. The ball passes through the basket.
Handle the situation.
There was no time remaining on the clock when the whistle was sounded. Therefore, no time should be put back on the clock. This means that no goal can be counted since the try was not released before the expiration of time for the period. However, A-4 was fouled in the act of shooting. A-4 should be awarded the appropriate number of free throws with no players lined up along the lane.
The next quarter will start with the appropriate alternating possession throw-in.
