A-1 is attempting to make a throw-in along the sideline. A-1 throws a bounce pass to A-2 that hits the sideline.
Handle the situation.
A-1 is required to throw the ball inbounds. Since the pass hit the sideline, A-1 has committed a throw-in violation. Team B will be awarded the ball for a designated spot throw-in from the spot of the previous throw-in if that throw-in was in Team A’s frontcourt. If that throw-in was in Team A’s backcourt, then the throw-in by Team B will be in their frontcourt. As such, the throw-in spot will be moved to the closest of the four “magic spots.”
