During a throw-in from frontcourt, A-1 passes the ball to A-2 who is in the backcourt. A-2 catches the ball while in contact with the sideline.
Handle the situation.
This is considered to be an out of bounds violation by A-2, not a throw-in violation. As such, even though the throw-in is in Team B’s frontcourt, the ball will be put into play from the spot where A-2 caught the throw-in.
