A-1 catches a pass with both feet on the floor. A-1 then jumps to make a pass to A-2. Seeing that the pass might be intercepted, A-1 then directs the ball to the floor and starts a dribble.
Handle the situation.
By rule, this is a traveling violation. Although A-1 did not establish a pivot foot by stepping with one foot, by interpretation, when A-1 jumped, one foot came off the floor before the other thus establishing said pivot foot. When starting a dribble, the ball must be released before the pivot foot leaves the floor.
