A-1 drives to the basket and scores. A-1’s momentum carries him out of bounds. As A-1 is returning inbounds, A-1 intentionally knocks the ball out of B-1’s hands as B-1 is headed out of bounds to make the throw-in.
Handle the situation.
A-1 being out of bounds is legal since his momentum had carried him out of bounds. However, A-1 intentionally knocking the ball out of B-1’s hands is a technical foul for “preventing the ball from being made live promptly.” Team B will be awarded two free throws and a designated spot throw-in from the division line opposite the table.
