During the fourth quarter, an intentional personal foul is ruled against B-4 for fouling A-1 near the bench in frontcourt.
Handle the situation.
A-1 will be awarded two free throws with no players lined up along the lane. Team A will be awarded a designated spot throw-in to resume play. That throw-in will be from one the four “magic” spots in frontcourt. In this case that will be the 28-foot mark on the sideline which, of course, is the end of the coaching box. Rule 8-5-3 in the Rules Book should be ignored as the NFHS has issued a clarification on this specific situation.
