Team A has the alternating possession arrow. A-1 and B-1 tie up the ball and a held ball is ruled. A-1 has the ball for the AP throw-in when an illegal screen is ruled against A-3.
Handle the situation.
Team B will be awarded the ball for a designated spot throw-in at the spot nearest to where the illegal screen occurred. Since the alternating possession throw-in was not completed and Team A did not violate, the alternating possession arrow will not be switched.
In these kinds of plays it is important to check the table to ensure that the alternating possession arrow is not reversed.
