The game is tied as A-1 attempts a last second shot that is unsuccessful. After the horn has sounded and the try has ended, the coach of Team A “goes bananas” because he believes his player was fouled. The coach is awarded a technical foul.
Handle the situation.
Since the game is tied and the fourth quarter has ended, the technical foul has occurred in the intermission between the fourth quarter and the first overtime period. As such, the penalty will be enforced at the start of the overtime period. Team B will be awarded two free throws and the ball at the division line for a designated spot throw-in. Once the throw-in starts, the arrow will be set toward Team A’s basket since Team B has the ball first.
