A-5 is being aggressively guarded by B-5 in the low post. A-5 becomes annoyed at B-5 and intentionally throws an elbow hitting B-5 square in the face.
Handle the situation.
Regardless of whether A-5 has the ball or not, since the contact was above the shoulders, by rule A-5’s personal foul is both intentional and flagrant. A-5 is disqualified to the bench. B-5 is awarded two free throws and Team B is awarded the ball for a designated spot throw-in at the spot out of bounds nearest the foul. If B-5 is unable to attempt the free throws, then B-5’s substitute will do so.
