A1 is attempting to dribble up in the backcourt. B1 tips the ball away from A1. During the scramble for the loose ball, A1 undercuts B1 and is whistled for a common foul.
Handle the situation.
Although the ball is loose, team control has not ended for Team A. Therefore, the common foul committed by A1 is a team control foul. No free throws will be attempted regardless of the team foul count. Team B will put the ball in play at the spot out of bounds nearest to where the foul was committed.
