Team A is in the bonus. A1 receives a pass outside the three-point line. As A1 jumps to attempt a three-point try, B1 runs through screener A2 and is whistled for the foul. A1 then releases the ball and it passes through the basket.
Handle the situation.
This is a continuous motion play. A1 had begun his motion to attempt a try. By rule, after any foul by the defense, the player, who has begun his motion to shoot, is permitted to complete such motion. As such, the three-point goal is counted. A2 will be awarded a bonus free throw situation for the common foul by B1.
