A-1 dribbles to the three point line and jumps to shoot. The ball is knocked loose momentarily by B-1. While still in the air, A-1 recovers the ball and lands.
Handle the situation.
This is legal play. Player control by A-1 ended when B-1 batted the ball momentarily from A-1’s grasp. Since player control had ended due to the bat by B-1, A-1 was entitled to recover the ball and land on the court. A-1 is entitled to start a dribble. A-1 could also pass or shoot the ball.
