A-1 ends his dribble with his left foot on the floor as he begins to spin toward the basket. A-1 jumps off his left foot, spins in the air and lands on both feet simultaneously.
Is this legal?
While this is an unusual move, it fits within the classic definition of a legal jump stop. A-1 is not permitted to pivot at this point. A-1 may lift either or both feet off the floor to pass or shoot so long as the ball is released before either foot returns to the floor.
