A-1 drives to the basket and is fouled while attempting a try. The ball is on the ring when A-5 jumps up and contacts the ring but does not touch the ball. The ball falls through the goal after this. Handle the situation.
A-5 touching the ring while the ball is on the ring is offensive basket interference. The ball becomes dead at this point. The ball passing through the goal after this is not relevant. No goal can be scored. However, A-1 was fouled while attempting the try. Since the try was unsuccessful, two free throws will be awarded.
