The play described below is provided for your review and discussion. The rulings given are based on NFHS rules. NCAA rulings may be different.
Team B has 8 team fouls. A-1 is dribbling toward the basket when B-1 commits a blocking foul against A-1. Both players wind up on the floor. Both jump up and begin jawing at each other. The official sounds his whistle for a double foul and the players are quickly separated. After they have been separated, B-1 comes back and shoves A-1 into the wall. A-1 does not retaliate. Handle the situation.
A-1 receives a technical foul and Team A’s foul count is increased by 1. B-1 receives 3 fouls and is disqualified to the bench. Team B’s foul count is increased by 3. B-1 receives a personal foul for blocking. He also receives two technical fouls. The first is for unsporting conduct. The second is for intentional contact during a dead ball. The double foul with A-1 creates a point-of-interruption play situation. Although Team B now has 11 team fouls, B-1’s personal foul was the 9th team foul for Team B. Play is resumed with a one-and-one bonus free throw opportunity for A-1 with no players lined up. This is followed by two free throws by any member of Team A. This is for B-1’s second technical foul. Team A is awarded the ball for a throw-in from the division line opposite the table after all free throws have been attempted. (References: Rule 10 Penalties 3a, 4-36-2b, 8-6-2)

Just a question is a double foul on the two players for jawing or double technical foul for the players?
Is that correct or I missing something?
Isaac
The double foul is a double technical foul for unsporting conduct(jawing at each other).
Makes you really think to administer this situation correct. Thanks.
