A-5 jumps to attempt a dunk. As A-5 goes to dunk the ball, it slips out of his hands. A-5 returns to the floor and catches the ball when it comes down before anyone else touches the ball.
Handle the situation.
The ball slipping from A-5’s hands is considered to be a fumble by rule. Anyone can recover a fumble. So, A-5’s catching of the ball when it comes down is legal. If A-5 had dribbled the ball before the attempted dunk, A-5 would not be allowed to dribble again. A-5 could pass or shoot.
