A-1 muffs the ball while ending his dribble. Then A-1 bats the ball to A-2.
Handle the situation.
This is a legal play. While A-1’s dribble has ended, there is no reason why A-1 cannot bat the ball to his teammate. In fact, A-1 could pick up the ball although he would not be able to dribble the ball again.
