Play of the Day #256 (2021-22)

The play described below is provided for your review and discussion. The rulings given are based on NFHS rules. NCAA rulings may be different.

Neither team is in the bonus.  A1 launches a three-point try.  While the ball is in the air, A5 is whistled for pushing B5 trying to get position for a rebound.  The ball passes through the basket.

Handle the situation.

Since the try was in the air when the foul occurred, the foul does not make the ball dead.  Since the ball passed through the basket, a three-point goal is scored.  Team B will be awarded the ball on the end line with the ability to move along the end line as after any score.

Very Interesting Play. Correct and you might here some complaints from coaches when you
    correctly rule this Play. Thanks.
