Team A is awarded the ball for a throw-in. The official bounces the ball to A1 who muffs the pass. The ball bounces away.
Handle the situation.
Since A1 never caught the ball, the throw-in has not started. The ball is still dead. The official should sound the whistle to stop any potential play, recover the ball and re-administer the throw-in.
