Neither team has been warned about flopping.  A-1 drives to the basket.  B-1 flops trying to draw a foul ruling from the official.  A-1 misses the layup and the ball is rebounded by B-4.

With 2.8 seconds left in the game and Team A trailing 51-48, A-1 makes a long throw-in pass downcourt toward A-4 in the frontcourt.  B-3 jumps with A-4 and punches the ball away from A-4.  2.5 seconds now show on the game clock.

Handle the situation.

1.  Team A is wearing their home white jerseys with black trim around the neckline and armholes. Substitute A-12 is beckoned into the game. A-12’s jersey is white, does not have any trim around the neckline.  This is a legal jersey. T-F

2.  Team A is wearing a patch with the number 12 attached to the upper right front of the jersey to honor an injured teammate. This is an illegal jersey and a technical foul shall be directly charged to the Head Coach of Team A. T-F

3.  A-7 reports to the official scorer to enter the game wearing a jersey with the No. 7, which is the number listed in the scorebook. Team A’s head coach has A-7 return to the bench. No penalty shall be assessed. T-F

4.  With 9 minutes remaining in pregame warmups, Team A adds two names to the scorebook. With 5 minutes remaining, it is discovered that designated starter B-3 is wearing a different jersey number than what is indicated in the official scorebook. Both Teams are charged with administrative technical fouls and will start the game with one team foul that counts toward the bonus. No free throws are awarded and the game will begin at the point of interruption, which is the opening jump ball. T-F

5. A-5 has entered the court with a rolled waistband which  exposes only one manufacturer’s logo; one visible manufacturer’s logo is allowed on the game shorts. This is legal and the player is properly equipped. T-F

2. In the first quarter, defender B-3 fakes being fouled in the lane on a successful try by A-1. Team B is issued a warning.  In the third quarter, B-4 breaks the boundary plane on A-4’s throw-in.  The officials charge Team B with a technical foul.  T-F

3.  Team A had not been previously warned when shooter A-1 fakes being fouled
after releasing the ball on a successful try.   When should officials stop play?

A) Sound the whistle immediately
B) Delay the whistle until the offense completes a play

4.  Team A had not been previously warned when shooter A-1 fakes being fouled after releasing the ball on an unsuccessful try.  The AP arrow is facing Team A’s basket.  The officials sound the whistle immediately and issue a warning to Team A.  Play is resumed by awarding the ball back to Team A for a throw-in. T-F

5.  Shooter A-1 releases the ball on a try when B-1 fakes being fouled in the lane.  When should officials stop play?

A) Sound the whistle immediately
B) Delay the whistle until the offense completes a play
6.  Team B was previously warned for faking being fouled. Shooter A-1 releases the ball on a try when B-1 fakes being fouled in the lane. A-4 secures the rebound and is fouled by B-4 in the act of shooting.Ruling:

•The officials have A-4 shoot two free throws for the foul by B-4.
•Team A is then awarded two free throws plus the ball at the division line for the technical foul.  T-F
7.  Team B was previously warned for faking being fouled.  Team B is in the bonus. Shooter A-1 releases the ball on a try when B-1 fakes being fouled in the lane. While the ball is in flight, A-4 fouls B-4 in the lane.Ruling:

•The officials have B-4 shoot two free throws with the lane cleared.
•Team A is then awarded two free throws plus the ball at the division line for the technical foul. T-F
